Our 'Derwen' media unit with soft close drawer and storage shelf is handmade in Wales, using premium French Oak.

This unit is paired with matching oak legs, manufactured in house to make the most of the the beautiful wood. This unit has an equipment shelf for your amplifier or other equipment and a soft close drawer with solid brass pull handle. The vinyl storage shelf has a lip fitted as a backstop so your vinyl will all line up. 

Finish options:

• Natural wax oil that accentuates and deepens the honey tones of the oak 
  
• Antique wax oil that is darker in tone with some grain elements highlighted as well.
  

We work exclusively with premium French Oak. France has been managing this resource since the mid 1600's and now legislates sustainable and regenerative forestry practices. In addition, France has mastered the art of planting their forests to ensure beautifully tall and straight trees that lead to exceptional quality timber.

• The vinyl shelf is 33.3cm high as a nod to the LP playing speed and easily fit standard vinyl
  
• The Vinyl shelf space is 69cm wide on the 120cm unit and 89cm on the 140cm unit
  
• The inner shelf space is 17.5cm high x 45cm wide
  
• The drawer is 14cm high x 45cm wide externally. Internal space is 11.5cm high x 40cm wide x 33cm deep.

The drawer is constructed from birch plywood with an oak front and has soft close runners with a solid brass pull. 

*This item requires some basic assembly - the legs need bolting on and the pull handle attached. The process takes only a few minutes and instructions are sent with the unit.

Please note that delivery is to a ground or 1st floor only although upgrades are available. We use a 48hr Parcelforce service that delivers on weekdays. If you require an upgraded service such as Saturday delivery then please contact us.
