Industrial vinyl storage charred finish

Our industrial media units mix solid pine with industrial steel piping for a modern effect. Designed for use with Hi-Fi separates and vinyl storage, the units are extremely heavy duty and durable and could be used for a variety of media devices. 

The simple, minimalist design is accentuated by charring the material which highlights the grain making the natural beauty of the wood stand out. This process is based upon an ancient Japanese technique where wood is charred to improve it's resistance to the elements. We use this process for it's aesthetic appeal which also ensures that each piece of furniture we make is truly unique.

We have a variety of wood stains available to ensure the piece fits with your current décor and gives the finish of your choice, please select your option from the drop down when ordering. For these units we use our 3 stage finishing process. First we use Danish oil to penetrate the wood and enrich the natural grain patterns. We then use high quality Osmo Wax Oil which sets into the wood fibres to give a strong, durable surface which is water repellent and hard wearing.

• The vinyl storage shelf is 33.3cm high to reflect LP playing speed and fit standard LP dimensions.
• The amplifier/hardware shelf is 23.5cm high and suitable for 2 standard separates. Please also check your amplifier specification for air circulation guidance and we can build appropriately if required.

This item requires some basic assembly - the top shelf and feet need to be screwed on. All holes are pre-drilled and it can be assembled with a standard flat head screwdriver. If you would prefer to have the unit delivered fully assembled then please contact us before you purchase and we can arrange this as a shipping upgrade.

Delivery

Please note that all pieces are handmade to order. We will keep you updated on your order and ensure a delivery time to suit you. Please bear in mind: 

• Fulfilment time: 3-4 weeks
  
• This item requires some basic assembly - the legs need to be attached! The unit has bolt fixings that can quickly and firmly attach the legs with the use of an allan key. The process takes only a few minutes and instructions are sent with the unit. The doors are also sent separately and simply lift into position.
• Shipping is free to the mainland UK.
